Airport: Xi’an Xianyang International Airport (XIY) – 60 min by taxi (≈ CNY 180) or Airport Shuttle + Line 9 (≈ 90 min)  

High-speed rail: Xi’an North Station – Metro Line 4 → Line 9 (≈ 70 min total).


4. Site Introduction

Discovered in 1974, the Terracotta Army is part of Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s mausoleum complex covering 56 km². Pit 1 holds 6,000 life-size warriors; Pits 2 & 3 showcase archers, chariots and high-ranking officers. UNESCO inscribed the site in 1987 as a World Cultural Heritage property.
